6th July 2013
Venue: Kildimo GAA Grounds, Limerick

This was a tough game for Ballinkillen on another very warm and sunny day. Despite fighting to the end, Ballinkillen couldn't handle the size, strength, speed and agression of this Old Christians team.
The Old Christians number 6 opened the scoring on 4 minutes with a point from a '65 and his team went on to register a further 1-5 before half-time. Ciaran Whelan scored a point from play in added time to leave the half-time score at 0-1 to 1-6 for the Limerick team.

The second half display from Ballinkillen was outstanding in the circumstances, outscoring Old Christians by 2 points to 1. Ciaran Whelan put in a massive effort to turn the tide and Cillian Redmond was brave throughout, his outstanding display in this Feile competition ending with a hand injury received in this game.
