Ballinkillen 1-06 Naomh Moling 4-05

Played on a damp evening, this was an entertaining and sporting game between 2 fully committed outfits. St. Mullins showed their speed and class from the start and dominated the first half, going in 2-03 to 0-02 up at half-time. Ballinkillen fought back well in the second half, but did not have enough to match St. Mullins on the night despite the efforts of Liam Nolan and Eoin Whelan in defence and Kevin Kavanagh in attack. Strongest for St. Mullins were Cathal Connolly, Martin Murphy and Donal Murphy.
