Louis Brennan was on fire for the home side in this game, scoring 2-03 in the first half. Donnacha Murphy and Pat Hickey added 2 further goals for Ballinkillen with the remaining points coming from Eric English from a ´65, Jack McLoughlin and Padraig Nolan. The Burren Rangers keeper made a great save to deflect a goal-bound shot from Pat Hickey on 10 minutes and Connor Duffy and Dylan Townsend scored 2 fine points from play for the visitors to leave the half-time score 4-06 to 0-02.
Dylan Townsend and Connor Duffy scored 3 further points for Burren Rangers in the second half with a goal coming from Jake Somers. Goals for the home side came from Eoin Whelan, Patrick Kavanagh and Louis Brennan, points coming from Louis Brennan (0-02) and Pat Hickey (0-01).
The final score didn´t reflect the game as Burren Rangers did some fine hurling and had strong displays from Conor Duffy, Dylan Townsend and Stephen Carroll.
Louis Brennan, Donnacha Murphy, Pat Hickey and Padraig Nolan all put in a good display for Ballinkillen.
