Ballinkillen 2-6 Miseal 3-7

Both teams put on a fine, committed display of hurling for their supporters in this final round of the U-12 League Group 1.
Miseal started strongly with a goal within 2 minutes from James Smithers, who was dangerous throughout the game. Against the run of play, Ballinkillen drew level on 4 minutes, a shot from Jack Treacy dropping to the back of the Miseal net. This was followed by a pointed free for Miseal from Ger Kavanagh. Within a minute Jack McLoughlin goaled for Ballinkillen and the home team were on top for the remainder of the first half with points from Louis Brennan, Sean Smithers and Jack Treacy (free). Shiam Harmon pulled back 2 points for Miseal to leave the half time score at 2-3 to 1-2 to the home team.

Miseal shuffled the pack at half time, bringing Eoin Hosey back to act as a sweeper and went on to outscore Ballinkillen by 2-4 to 0-3 in the second half. Miseal's goals came from Shiam Harmon and James Smithers, most of their points coming from tight angles on the left off the stick of Tadhg "Tiger" Daly. Ballinkillen's points came from Jack McLoughlin and Jack Treacy.

Best for Ballinkillen were Sean Smithers, Eoin Whelan, Jack Treacy and Jack McLoughlin. James Smithers, Eoin Hosey, Shiam Harmon and Tagdh Daly stood out for Miseal.
