Ballinkillen 1-4 Burren Rangers 1-5

This was a close game between two committed sides. Burren Rangers' Darragh Donoghue registered the first score, making use of the strong breeze to point from a free on 9 minutes. Eric English responded for Ballinkillen with a point from play on 14 minutes. The home side spurned a number of scoring chances and Burren Rangers finished the half strongly with two points from Lochlainn MacGrath.
The second half started well for the home side with a goal from Pat Hickey after 4 minutes. This was followed by a strong period for Ballinkillen who again failed to convert a number of promising scoring chances. The Burren Rangers keeper and full back line were very strong throughout the game. Ballinkillen's Louis Brennan, Eric English and Jack Ryan each contributed to a further 0-3 for their side. Burren Rangers finished strongly and registered 1-2 to take the honours.
Rowan Deane, Lochlainn McGrath and Donnacha Murphy stood out for Burren Rangers. Louis Brennan, Eamonn Normanly and Adam Tobin worked hard for Ballinkillen.
