Ballinkillen 2-7  Kilmacud Crokes 3-15

The first point of the match was scored by No 12 for Kilmacud Crokes in the first 5 mins of the game. The Dublin team dominated the first 20 mins with a 1 goal 3 points lead before Ballinkillen opened the score with a goal from Mark Tracey. They then went on to score 3 points from Micael Brennan, Ciaran Whelan, and Michael Redmond. It looked like we were finding our stride with strong performances from Eoin Roberts and Jamie Wall, when Kilmacud scored a further 6 points to bring the score to Ballinkillen 1 - 3 Kilmacud Crokes 1 - 9 at half time.
Hopes were high for the second half as Ballinkillen were closing the gap.
The Crokes team opened the 2nd half with a point in the first 5 mins and then went on to score a goal and 2 points before Ballinkillen answered back with 2 points from Jamie Wall and 1 point from Ciaran Whelan. Crokes came back with another point and our David Foley answered with a point for us. It looked like Ballinkillen were on top when Eoin Roberts scored our 2nd goal but the Dublin team came back with a goal and two points to bring the final score of the match to Ballinkillen 2 - 7 Kilmacud Crokes 3 - 15.
