Ballinkillen U16 hurlers complete 3 in a row county titles:

Ballinkillen's U16 hurlers created history on Sunday morning in Netwatch Cullen Park in the U16 county A final, defeating a very strong MLR side on a scoreline of Ballinkillen 1-15 Mount Leinster Rangers 1-12.
In a very tough, competitive encounter Ballinkillen had to show real spirit and resilience to keep their noses in front and get over the line.
With Ballinkillen holding on to a slender 2 point lead as the clock ticked down the outstanding Jack Treacy's long range effort for a point ended up in the MLR net. A huge cheer from the supporters signaled the beginning of the celebrations. Despite the concession of a late goal, the lads were not going to be deprived. Great credit to all involved in what was a very proud day for the club.

Senior hurlers county semi final:
All roads lead to Netwatch Cullen Park next Sunday 31st September as Ballinkillen attempt to reach their first senior county final since 2004. Ballinkillen will need to be at their very best as near neighbours Naomh Eoin, Myshall will be formidable opposition. Throw in is at 2:30.
